2026 Grantmaking Update

This year we selected Colorado Name Change Project for a significant grant for their mission to assist Coloradans with legal name change and gender marker corrections. We selected CNCP because name changes and gender markers are critical to securing equality and reducing discrimination against transgender people.

2025 Grantmaking Update

We are grateful to share that the Trans Rising Fund has completed its 2025 grantmaking round. Grants were awarded to seven organizations serving trans communities in diverse and vital ways:

  • Trans Youth Equality Foundation

  • Shovel & Fork Farms

  • NFI Massachusetts

  • Trans Housing Coalition

  • TransPonder

  • Point of Pride

  • Seeing Rainbows

This year, we received requests totaling over $140,000—far more than we were able to fund.
